Housing Sub-Block Agreement for 10 or More Hotel Rooms

This Agreement must be signed by a board member of your lodge and submitted prior to booking a block of 10 rooms or more. Once received, your room block request will be reviewed for availability and you will be sent an email confirming your request. A Credit Card Authorization secure link will be sent from the MGM Grand reservations staff after confirmation of the availability of rooms. The credit card will be charged the full billing with room, resort fee, and tax for each room held in your block.

A rooming list with the names of all reservations is due by July 14, 2023. After this date, the full billing becomes non-refundable and any unused reservations will automatically be canceled. Changes to existing reservations can be made through July 11, 2023. Keep in mind reservations canceled or rooms released after the Sub-Block Cut-Off date will not be eligible for a refund.

The rates and terms in this Agreement are based on The Fraternal Order of Police’s total number of room nights and room rates contracted. The total contracted room block reserved at the MGM Grand will allow you to reduce your sub-block rooms commitment to 90% of your original total. All reservations are due by the above noted Cut-Off date. At that time, your room nights should equal no less than 90% of the contracted rooms. Should room reservations on the Cut-Off Date total less than Contracted, an attrition charge for rooms below contract amount will be posted to the guaranteeing credit card provided. Attrition charges will be computed by multiplying the FOP average rate, plus tax (currently 13.38%), times the difference between 90% and the actual rooms utilized. Final attrition charges may increase if cancellations occur after the Cut-off Date.

This agreement supersedes all other agreements and understandings between the parties.
